El Duo: Diamonds
Born in 2015, Oakland, CA artists EL DUO blend lo-fi electronics and afro dance grooves while drawing from their deep love of improvisation. Their brilliant track “Diamonds” is the opening song on the debut EP from August 2016, “The El Key“. The EP delivers a handful of solid songs recorded across a variety of spaces while bringing a warm/raw feeling typically only found on live albums.
Earlier in the year EL DUO announced the forthcoming release of their second EP, “Mono Y Mono“, with an official date TBA. In the meantime you can currently pick up the debut EP on BC for about $4/$5.
