Berkeley based indie rock band SUPER CASSETTE issued their most recent release in Sept of ’17, the six track EP “Cathode Ray Tube“, a solid collection of pop tracks anchored by our absolute favorites, “Crucible” and today’s feature and EP opener “Happy Obsolete“.

The group fronted by the twin Gerlock brothers reportedly started as a solo project called “Maximillian” and later grew to be a 4-piece. You can pick up the band’s newest EP for $5 at BC alongside several other releases dating back to 2016 for another couple of dollars.

Influences: Radiohead, Animal Collective, Modest Mouse, Beck, Frank Ocean, The Strokes, Cake
