Pinegrove: Old Friends
Montclair New Jersey’s Pinegrove are back with a new live album, so to mark the occasion we are featuring the lead off studio track from their 2016 LP Cardinal to draw attention and introduce you to the group if you missed our previous feature of their song Cadmium.
The eight track live album was issued on Jan 20th and is entitled Elsewhere, recorded towards the end of their tour with Kevin Devine, Petal, & Julien Baker—the last run of a year in which the band played closer to 200 shows. This release is intended as a thank you letter to everybody who supported them in any way.
Cardinal as well as the new live album and the rest of the band’s catalogue are at Bandcamp under a ‘pay what you want’ model and they are donating all the proceeds to the Southern Poverty Law Center, so please give what you can.
