Polyphonics: Something and Sometimes
Polyphonics is a project by composer and musician Art Denisson where he comes up with a unique merger of electronics, electroacoustics and acoustics. “Secret Silence“, the release from where today’s featured track is taken, is the project’s debut on Bulgarian label Mahorka in late August of this year.
The musical ideas for the project were apparently derived from Art’s previous work in film scoring, giving this a lush cinematic feel that definitely transplant you to a imaginary film of your chosing. The basic idea according to Art “was to bring together acoustic and electronic instruments in a very easy and playful way for live performance.”
