Virginia based favorite Wild Nothing (aka Jack Tatum) released this holiday track last year after making the recording for fun… a well executed cover of the Captain Sensible track, One Christmas Catalogue.
As was a world away for those in the US, or potentially before some of your times, the song originally released in the UK in 1984 by Captain Sensible, after he left the band he co-founded in 1976, The Damned. They have the distinction of being the first UK punk band to put out a single/LP in ’76/’77.
