We recently stumbled across another excellent find from the voices out on Twitter, our occasional go-to spot over the last six or so years to find great music that people are getting fired up about. Today’s social gushing revolves around The Ambulars, a three piece power pop/punk band originally from the Washington DC area, now based out of Philadelphia.
We love instrumentation ala Superchunk, Becky Sharp, Ben Deily-era Lemonheads, Dinosaur Jr and more, so naturally gravitated toward the welcoming sounds on The Ambulars first full length LP – “Dreamers Asleep at the Wheel”, originally released in October of 2012 on Salinas Records.
