In the vein of Superchunk, Dinosaur Jr., and Guided by Voices emerges the excellent new Salt Lake City band PTO, who officially released their debut album, Pointless, this past September.
Taking a listen to the entire LP, our favorites includes the infectious and bouncy ‘Ooh Ooh Ooh’ and ‘Stars of Spinsterdom’ in addition to the closing two tracks, one of which is today’s great feature ‘Fake Like You Kiss’, and the following closing track showcasing the layer of chugging guitars of ‘Salt Lake City’.
