Grand Resort is the project of a 20-year old native of the Dominican Republic named Andrés Pichardo, now resident in Brooklyn.
Despite the gloomy title of his single Night is Dark, it is uplifting guitar-driven shoegazey pop. Reminds us of the days of late 80s or early 90s British pop, with a guitar sound reminiscent of a couple of guitarists from that era.
