Luke Temple: Someone, Somewhere

Before New York’s Luke Temple gained attention with his new band Here We Go Magic (via Western Vinyl), he released his first solo CD in late 2005 ‘Hold A Match to a gasoline World’ on Mill Pond Records out of Seattle, Washington.

It basically took “Make Right With You” and “In the End” from an earlier EP, and expanded it to an 11-song album. He created this while living in New York, making a living by painting murals in wealthy New Yorkers’ apartments.

Luke’s most recent effort is the single track ‘Ophelia’ from his upcoming August release, Don’t Act Like You Don’t Care – currently floating around the musical interwebs. It’s definitely worth seeking out after listening to today’s intro.
