Australia’s THE MIDDLE EAST are back with an anticipated new record “I Want That You Are Always Happy” that will be released July 12th in the US on Missing Piece Records, after an initial release in Australia and New Zealand on April 8th.
The cover art reminds me a bit of the Crimson Ghost or the reaper in Scrooged, but I’m not sure what to make of his simpler banana-headed paper apprentice nor the album title which fumbles off the lips.
Either way, this is a great representative single along the lines of Paul Simon or Mumford & Sons, and reminiscent of the superb musicianship from the group’s debut EP, ‘Recordings of the Middle East’.
