IR: The SoCal Sessions #13 – Flight from Chicago

This week brings us a quality collection of local harder edged tracks with a special guest de-icing session by Chicago’s own ‘The Race’ to help insure session liftoff. We’ve also got new albums coming out on June 12th from both La Crescenta based ‘Phathom’ as well as our favorite Simi Valley band, ‘Strung Out’; namely “Zombie Love” and “Blackhawks Over Los Angeles”.

LA native ‘Nick Black’ is also playing a big show this coming Friday (check the flyer in our featured media section) and there are upcoming shows by Deccatree, Buckfast and more on the horizon. Make sure you take a peek at our concert calendar on the website and pick out a show or two to support, as these are all solid performers live.

San Diego based Moxie and The North Atlantic have also been making a bit of noise as of late down south. We’ve included a homemade video in our media section for you that Moxie has put together.

Turkish rocker Faruk Korkmaz comes courtesy of a newer show on the network, Insomnia Radio: Turkey; and Vintage closes out our show today presenting a crushing rock monolith appropriately titled “Zeus”, from their album “Take it All”.

Please support all these bands and feel free to do a bit of exploring at the following links:
