Weird Milk: This Close

Weird Milk West London alternative pop 4-piece Weird Milk release their 60s-vibing, tempo-shifting single This Close, out with B-side You as a physical release on March 24th via Ra-Ra Rok Records, and available to stream digitally from February 17th.

Its the debut single from the West Londoners, and it’s a compelling introduction to their sound. A bright verse and sultry chorus nod towards a combination of Alex Turner at his most romantic and arch New wave, all sprinkled with creamy 60s beat harmonies.

Linking up for their first release with Camden based label Ra-Ra Rok, who have been integral in documenting the vital, burgeoning South London indie scene (Shame, HMLTD, Goat Girl et al.), Weird Milk are a melodic relief to these scuzzy, noisy, sounds and politically intense times.
