Show Me Island: Right Awful Truth
I’ve always had a weak spot for ska bands from Salt Lake City, having traveled there a few times in days gone by, sneaking off from the paid college conferences and checking out some of the best local acts in the genre playing around town.
Show Me Island is a seven piece reggae-ska band out of the streets of SLC who have just released an outstanding twelve track LP, “Run Around & Run”, coming highly recommended from this camp. It’s a very solid release and follows on the footsteps of a full length issued in 2013 and a few EPs dating back to 2011.
