Longtime CCMixter user Ashwan, originally from Liverpool, says he recently was “seduced by fellow CCMixter Ditto Ditto’s remix of Snowflakes ‘The Light'” when he put together today’s featured Daily Dose track. Conjoined with this epiphany in track creation, he says that he was also “inspired by the anniversary of the Berlin wall coming down recently and how that can function as a metaphor for the groundbreaking work that everyone involved in the music site ccmixter is doing.”

In addition to mixing the music you are hearing here today, Ashwan is a visual and multimedia artist with works in private and corporate collections worldwide. The sample here that accompanies the track is entitled ‘Electric Relaxation’ and you can find much more on his artist website below.
