Missouri’s Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin (SSLYBY) recently released their third album for Polyvinyl Records, this time produced by Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie, as well as Beau Sorenson. Release Date: August 17, 2010
Apparently the band name was created after the first president of Russia, Boris Yeltsin resigned. They wanted a really long band name and one of the founding member’s brothers was apparently writing a paper about Russian history at the time, convienently entitled ‘Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin’.
