Motel Motel is an indie folk/rock band based in Brooklyn, New York, with roots and influences all over the board: Denver, Colorado; Captain Cook, Hawaii;  Richmond, Virginia as well as elsewhere across the United States.   They are self-described as “shwag rock” but their style has also been called “rattling, old-timey country” and “garage-Americana”.

Their most recent album “The Big Island” was released on August 24, 2010
