Today’s Daily Dose comes to you from Washington 3-piece Daddy Lion, from their debut EP. The track also has a delightful video made by the band, so make sure to check it out at the bottom of this post!

Daddy Lion: Morning “Jeremy Joseph, 27, wrote, performed and recorded the debut EP on an eight-track in his bedroom finishing the record Summer 2009. Soon thereafter he began to look for a band through craigslist to translate this music live. Jeff Milberg, 26, joined on drums in September and after a couple duds, Will Brewster, 23, joined on bass and keys in December.

Around this time the EP started to generate some press including an NPR Song of the Day feature in late January 2010. In April the band caught the attention of indie label 24 Hour Service Station and signed a deal for the EP’s release Summer 2010. The band now have their eyes set on working together on a follow-up record.” [Band Bio]
