Introducing: Insomnia Radio 24/7
…in which that slacker Jason introduces the station that truly never sleeps: IR 24/7. The newest addition to the family introduces a crystal clear 128k stream of never-ending independent goodness. Because hey, something has to rock your socks off 24/7.
Besides, we’re paying for it, so you better listen
Seriously gang, thanks for listening, for your undying loyalty, and for continuing to support indie music.

I think some of the MP3 files might not be tagged so they display correctly. Having listened using WMP for a while this morning, some showed the track information, some didn't. The ones which didn't showed the track information from the previous track
Easy at work to listen to this through WinAmp or WMP (I don't do iTunes), but it doesn't give me track information. I think the first time I used it, I did get a track information screen…but since then, nothing. Is there a plug-in I am missing?
What a bummer…the track information should be coming through – we haven't changed anything on our end but I've confirmed the same problem on my end with WMP. . .
I'll investigate! (That's why we call it a beta. hah)
A workaround for WMP is that if you allow "external content" you can view the server's Shoutcast page, which displays the current song title and the past 5 or so tracks that have been played. It SHOULD be displaying in Winamp, however.
What version do you have?
WMP11…funny, but I had the Shoutcast screen the first time I used IR 24/7, then it went away and I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to get it back. Cannot find the 'external content' selection.
GAH…I hate Microsoft…but, I'm at work and WinAmp doesn't work on the network here.
YAY!!
I can remember plugging in the old version of this while on holiday in Thailand…hot sun, wet pool, cold beer, spicy food and Insomnia Radio…great combination.
You don't know how great that makes us feel! Hopefully you'll find the new + improved version a significant step forward
…and we're only getting started!
