My First Earthquake: Neon for You

From their new EP Crush available for free download from Bandcamp

My First Earthquake: CrushMy First Earthquake, San Francisco’s electric pop foursome, is thrilled to announce the release of their new EP, Crush this Thursday (6/17) at no cost to its listeners, aka FREE.

This 4-song collection is the band’s third release, following the full-length album, Downstairs. They pulled out all the stops for this recording—their sleekest synths, catchiest vocals, and a trumpeter multi-tracked into an entire mariachi band. More about the band…

These songs couldn’t wait for an album. They’re summer songs, and they demanded release. Recorded in spring 2010 at the infamous Hyde Street Studios during one long non-lazy Sunday with engineer Scott McDowell. Their producer, Anthony Molina, took the helm of our eager ship once more, and Carl Saff handled the mastering.
