Amanda Easton was featured on episode 3 of Insomnia Radio: Australia.

Living and performing in Sydney, Amanda originally said that she wanted the popstar lifestyle. After being in the industry for a while, however, Amanda is quite happy to produce music that she wants to perform. She is no longer consumed by needing Top 40 airplay on radio or having music that sounds like everyone else.

Amanda describes her music as Theatrical Pop with Chilled Electronic Beats and can be classified in the pop, jazz and electronica musical genres.

Several years ago, Amanda founded a female indie musical showcase called Pop Tarts which featured female performers from a variety of music styles in performances in the Sydney City, inner west and northern beaches areas, showcasing more than 1500 female artists. The showcases are on a well earned break at the moment but Amanda is still performing in solo shows.
