Jóan Petur is the first Faroese artist to be featured on Insomnia Radio, and this is from his album Bow & Arrow

Jóan Petur is from the Faroe Islands. He is 27 years old, and educated as a chef. Jóan Petur is a Singer/songwriter and has just released his debut album called “Bow & Arrow”. The album contains ten songs, two of them co-written “Lost In Repetition” with Anja Følleslev and “Angel Above Adam” with Angu Motzfeldt. The album is recorded at Baroli Music Studios and Kristuff-Studios. Stone Gun Records released “Bow & Arrow”. Jóan Petur is currently working on the 2nd album. The 2nd album will be called “Teeth In A Smile” and will be released in May 2010. [MySpace]
