Lee Coulter: Booty Voodoo
If you are from the Southern California area you may have heard of Australia (Logan City) raised singer-songwriter Lee Coulter in the past few years. He’s made his presence strongly felt in a variety of coastal San Diego venues, having taken up residence in the SoCal area, recording and also producing albums for other musicians in the Northern County laid back beach-side town of Encinitas.
Booty Voodoo is part of Lee coulter self-described sound of ‘funkacana’, a playful upbeat mix of acoustic sounds ala Jack Johnson or Paul Simon, meeting the beats of the Chili Peppers, Bob Marley, or possibly even Lenny Kravitz.
Lee was recently interviewed in iProng Magazine‘s local Los Angeles issue that we also appeared in recently, and has been embraced by the original podcast community, having headlined the New Media Expo in Ontario just a few short years back to a very strong response.
Make sure you give Lee your support as he has been giving back to the community by taking up special causes. You can see what he’s currently up to at his social site blog, and i believe his music is currently for sale over at Napster and most likely through direct contact as well. [cs]
