Drawing on influences from old-time jazz standards, folk, and traditional country, Halifax’s Jill Barber has become one of Canada’s most distinctive young voices.

A seasoned performer with a growing fan base across North America and the UK, Jill gained acclaim as a 2008 double-Juno nominee and multiple East Coast Music Award winner for previous releases For All Time (2006) and Oh Heart (2004).

She has four releases, “Chances”, “A Note to Follow So”, “Oh Heart”, and the aforementioned “For All Time”. Chances is her latest which came out this year, and this track, ‘Hard Line’, is from ‘For All Time. You can pick up her releases at e-music or itunes.
