AC Berkheimer is a Rotterdam [Netherlands] based quartet formed in mid 2005, who combines fierce guitar riffs with dark and dreamy vocals. A sound that can also be described as a wall of melancholy if you wish.

In April 2006 the band released a 4-track demo and started performing live. They played Vera, Bitterzoet, Waterfront, ‘t Paard, Rotown and were invited to perform at The Music In My Head festival and the ZXZW festival. In the spring of 2007 AC Berkheimer was ‘Hollandse Nieuwe’ at VPRO’s and the band teamed up with indie producer Corno Zwetsloot to create a first full length album.
