The Carter Manoeuvre: Someone Who Can
June 10, 2008
Written by Charles Stepczyk
Leamington Spa band, previously under the name ‘Interloper’, changed to ‘The Carter Manoeuvre’ in 2005. Their music is a fusion of progressive rock mixed with the raw energy and experimental aspects from influences such as ‘Radiohead’, ‘Bloc Party’ and ‘Broken Social Scene’.
The Carter Manoeuvre EP was released March 7th, 2006, and sadly the band has recently announced they are calling it quits with a few recordings and one final live show in the works.
It’ll be a shame to see such a talented group move on, so if you are in the UK and anywhere in the region, please tell them your thoughts @ Bar Academy in Birmingham on June 20th, their final show.
