I know I am possibly judging a book by it’s cover, but I must say I am a bit perplexed at this choice of song on IR. It seems to have a very commercial pop sound to it. This is the last place I expected to hear this sort of track, and probably the first track I’ve heard on IR in the whole time I’ve been listening (~2005) that I can honestly say I just plain don’t like at all.
But that’s just my 2c. :-S
Thanks for the feedback Stuart. We will do our best to keep this in mind moving forward with tracks on this feed. If theres any specific genres you want to hear more of as well, please let us know.

DOT DOT DOT IS THE BEST BAND IN WORLD. FROM THERE ROCK TO LOVE SONGS THEY CAN GET YOU JUMPING ON YOUR FEET. YOU HAVE TO SEE THEM WHEN THEY CAME TO YOUR HOME TOWN.
I LOVE DOT DOT DOT
I have to go out on a limb and agree with Stuart, vs siding with the IR staff. I’m perplexed too. While it’s by no means a bad song, it definitely seems out of place.
That said, I have a gut feeling about it’s placement. When we had launched the original Indie Music Project, FenderGirl frequently reviewed semi-commercial bands as the hook to get more readers and listeners. Why? Because those mainstream fans would get converted to the indie stuff we covered.
I suspect there may be a method to the madness here.

@Jason, I reckon you might have a point re placement - definitely makes sense to throw in the occasional “hook-in” song, and if that’s the case, this would be a perfect fit.
@LINDSEY, I don’t think Dot Dot Dot tour this far out. ;P
@Charles, thanks for the follow up email!
I don’t think there’s anything that really needs adjusting or changing as far as the Daily Dose song selection goes. It is, all-in-all, a fantastic show, and I have literally ear-marked most bands to follow up and check out more of their stuff/ purchase albums (for those that I haven’t done so already), because I love pretty much everything I hear on this feed. This was one one track that seemed out of place, but that doesn’t mean others won’t like it. Honestly guys, keep up the great work.
Ok guys! I didn’t know that this song was going to cause this much commenting. I just picked the song because I liked it and that was all!
