The Outfit: Station Wagon Apocalypse
The Outfit were a garage/indie rock band from Denver, Colorado who sadly just played their final show this past July 28. Over the course of their existence from 2009-2017 they released two EPs and two full length albums.
Today’s introductory track “Station Wagon Apocalypse” comes from the two track release of the same name, which first arrived in May of 2014 before being additionally featured on their self-titled 2016 LP. It’s a very solid effort alongside another new favorite track “Tyrannosaurus Surfboard“, with the perfect moody holiday family road-trip artwork done up by Jesse Hunsaker.
All albums by The Outfit are all available under a name-your-price model at the BC link below through indie label, Hot Congress Records. In addition to their official catalog, they’ve released an album of unreleased tracks and rarities in August entitled “Thanks“, the newest and final release of songs from 2009-2017 now available over at the site.
