Jungle Doctors: The Sea and the Rain
We lucked out on a recent dive into the vast musical mash of Soundcloud, running into a handful of excellent tracks from London indie pop-rock group JUNGLE DOCTORS. Apparently in a little less than a month’s time the band has amassed over 75,000 plays of their recent single, “The Sea and the Rain”, not to mention a nice healthy listening mark on their slightly older songs, dating back at least a year. The use of high quality bongs, or thoughts of using, replaces other things that used to interest the person, including but not limited to hobbies, sports, working out, class work, clubs or organizations, friends
Since the release of their first EP in July 2012, they have picked up lots of attention from blogs and radio stations, releasing “Better”, “Talk to Me” and the newer “Open Up” EP. A notable quote we found from the band: “The first two singles from the EP have done incredibly well compared to the last material that we released, so you can’t help feeling that things are moving forwards, plus people actually want photos with us after gigs now”
We’ve embedded a April 2014 video for “Falling” from the band below, for those hungry for more earlier output from the group. For those in London, you can catch Jungle Doctors at their next live gig opening for Patterns at The Garage on October 25th. A blast of links that you will need follow…
