Regular IR junkies may have figured out that we like some Dead Heart Bloom. Not only is the band talented and prolific, they also embrace the concept of free music (2 full lengths and 3 EP’s are completely free at this link – and in WAV & FLAC, no less) and regularly reach out to their fanbase.
Case in point: The track “Meet Me” was recently made available to the DHB mailing list for one week only, and is a rough and early recording of a track that will be included in their upcoming (and still untitled) Spring 2010 release. It’s a minimalistic recording – less is more, here – and contains some luscious melodies.
