Los De Esta Noche: Settle the Score
Los de Esta Noche (The Ones From Tonight) are another band we are featuring this week out of San Antonio, Texas. The group is a Latin roots rock band with a soundscape ranging through Ska, Cumbia and Conjunto music. Influenced by the sound and culture of the Mexico border, they blend horns and percussion along with Spanish and English lyrics. They’ve performed regularly around Texas and Louisiana with bands like Molotov, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Bomba Estereo, Los Rakas, GZA, Inspector, La Santa Cecilia, and many other national touring artists.
While we aren’t sure if the band is still around as their main social sites have been taken down sometime in the last few years, the group released a really solid self-titled nine song LP just a few short years back in April 2015. “Settle The Score” is the 7th track here, with the entire release available for $7 through BC.
To get a feel for their sound, Los De Esta Noche has performed with The Wailers, Molotov, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Bomba Estereo, Los Rakas, GZA, Inspector, La Santa Cecilia, and many other national touring artists.
