Indie upstarts Llovers [from Teesside in the North East of England] have announced their first release of 2018 in Just Lust, a thought-provoking track examining perceptions within society and how the band feel disconnected with certain stereotypes.

Digging further into societal issues, the band’s carefully nurtured lyricism really comes to the fore in this latest effort and with the tender vocals of Jack Brooks on display throughout, the single’s minimalist build-up slowly translates into a euphoric crescendo and a scintillating solo that is sure to sit nicely within the quintet’s live set.

With widespread backing already from tastemakers, support slots with Dream Wife, Caro and VANT and BBC 6 Music airplay sparking initial comparisons to acts including JAWS, Peace and The 1975, Llovers are certainly ready to make their mark. [via Super Cat PR]
