The Wilderness of Manitoba: Head for the Hills
“Across the Dark” is the fifth full length release from Toronto CAN band, THE WILDERNESS OF MANITOBA, released on September 15th of this past year. This full release would definitely fit onto last years best list if we indeed creating anything of that nature (we typically don’t), with the songs continuously delivering, from the evocative and reflective “Head for the Hills” to the wonderful country-folk vibes of album closers “On My Mind” and “Old Fear“. Unlike other albums, this one was penned and produced fully by vocalist Will Whitwham.
“Across the Dark” is now available through Pheremone Records at the BC link below for $10 CAD, alongside several other releases from their catalog. This one comes with my highest recommendation.
