‘Dreaming‘ is the Oct 2016 single from one of our favorite Los Angeles shoegaze bands, WINTER. The track was actually written during Samira Winter’s 30-day songwriting challenge that was held in 2013. From this song-a-day project ten songs where chosen for the first album ‘Supreme Blue Dream‘, however ‘Dreaming‘ never made it onto that record. The track was later explored further with bandmate Matt Hogan as they recorded a new demo in Hogan’s bedroom, which expanded on the sound. While on their first west coast tour in May 2014 Matt’s laptop was stolen in San Francisco, and they thought they had lost the track for good, although with some good fortune it turned up in the summer of 2016 on Matt’s hard drive!

The artwork for the beautiful single is a still from the ‘Dreaming‘ music video which can be found embedded further below, directed by Kevin P. Kearney and with art direction by Mary Florence Brown.
