flyingdeadman: A strange feeling last night
flyingdeadman are a French post-rock band long based out of Bressuire who just issued their newest instrumental yet sample laden six-track EP ‘56 seasons‘ earlier this year in January. ‘A strange feeling last night‘ is a beautiful yet haunting tale rich in composition, effortlessly fluctuating between savage force and delicacy as the band’s website hints.
One of the best fan-fueled reviews of this EP comes from their BC page:
While listening this album, I had a strange mix of feelings: anxiety, sadness and.. hope. Hope that all of the beautiful memories of childhood, that were forgotten but suddenly appeared just in front of my eyes, will remain with me. Forever.
‘56 seasons‘ was written and home recorded between March 2014 & December 2016 and you can pick up the entirety of this release and others under a name-your-price model at their BC site below. In addition, a great fan video for ‘A strange feeling last night‘ edited by Robert Ciodyk can be seen further below.
