Permanent Makeup: Signal or Noise
Today we revisit an album from Florida post-punk band Permanent Makeup, an unholy union of sounds along the lines of Treepeople, Fugazi and Pavement.
“Signal or Noise” is the second track we’ve featured from their LP “The Void… It Creeps“, released February 26, 2013. I’ve been meaning to feature more from this solid piece of work for quite some time and have also embedded a quality live video below of the band performing this song in the Mike Eisenstadt Live Music Studio at WMNF for Grand National Championships.
Donations for all of their albums for the near future go to equally to ACLU and Planned Parenthood under a name-your-price model at BC below.
Influences: Fugazi, Sonic Youth, 100 Flowers, Wire, Mission of Burma, Grass Widow, Minutemen, Shellac
