The Gemini Effect

The Gemini Effect is an alternative rock band based in Auckland, New Zealand. The first album ‘Atomic Blues’ is due for release soon. Their sound drags rock, blues and psychedelia of the past into the present, picking up elements of indie and grunge along the way.

The band was started by Rob Sharp writing songs in his garage. Rob handles vocals and guitars. George Gorringe joined on bass during the recording process. Nick Prussing (Hospital Sports, Troubled Frank) and AJ Davy (Motorboat) have played drums on the album.

Today’s Dose Personal Hollywood is their first single, the opening track on the album.
