MAHOGANY: to where all lights go
Portuguese experimental indie-folk band MAHOGANY issued their eight track debut release ‘a house in iceland‘ back in 2015 through ZigurArtists. This is a collective netlabel from Lamego, Portugal, home to various type of music, art and creativity. The track ‘to where all lights go‘ is a heartfelt poignant piece in the vein of Jose Gonzales, some very inspiring music to reflect on the important memories in your life.
All the tracks on the release were composed and recorded by Duarte Ferreira in his room, excepting the electric guitar, keyboards and choir, composed and recorded by Gonçalo Brito and António Fontes in his attic and living room respectively. Production, mixing and mastering by Duarte Ferreira, for the majority of the songs.
