Ghost Cousin: Breakfast and Tea
The album “Scotland” is the first full-length effort that Canadian psychedelic art-pop band GHOST COUSIN recorded themselves in 2013, predominately at the McDougall United Church in downtown Edmonton.
The arrangements are quite thoughtfully assembled in today’s featured opening track, “Breakfast and Tea“, reminding me slightly at moments of the vocal stylings of San Diego’s Rob Crow [Pinback]. The band describes their specific emphasis for the songs on the album are directed toward melody, harmonly and texture.
The album “Scotland” is currently free over at the group’s Bandcamp site below under a name-your-price model and a video is embedded further down the page – filmed by Shane Hauser and Matthew Gooding.
