Orchards: Honey
Combining left field experimentation with pop sensibilities, Brighton’s Orchards unveil new single ‘Honey’, out 18th November.
Once again recording with engineer/producer Thomas Le Beau Morley (Wolf Alice, Three Trapped Tigers, Delta Sleep), Orchards have further honed their skittish math-pop sound, where intricate guitars and drums provide the bed on which Lucy Evers’ vocals thrive, before a stunning, spaced-out release signals a thrilling climax. Since the success of their last single “Peggy”, (over 50,000 views YouTube views since release) Orchards have shared the stage with Meet Me In St Louis, Alpha Male Tea Party and White Lung, whilst also appearing at festivals such as A Carefully Planned Faestival, TRUCK and YNOT. Furthermore, slots at Edinburgh Fringe and playing as part of the global stripped-back music series Sofar Sounds highlight the band’s versatility and skill. [via Super Cat PR] |
