Post-Punk Podge & the Technohippies: Post-Punk Election Party
As we officially cross over the threshold into what appears to potentially be a landmark election day here in the States, I thought it would be good to change it up and feature a political anthem from outside the country. In this case we bring you an great kraut punk tune crafted across the pond over in Limerick Ireland earlier this year.
This one comes from Post-Punk Podge & the Technohippies, and was released in late May 2016. While the message and situation is quite a bit different, the music strikes a raw nerve and was a emotionally charged Irish political song to help drown out the domestic noise. The song can be downloaded for free over at the Unscene Music Bandcamp page below.
