Electronic duo Amethysts have announced the forthcoming release of their debut single ‘My Love’. Recorded in their own home studio and mixed by Shuta Shinoda (Daughter, Ghostpoet), the two-piece’s first release sees them mix electronics and live instrumentation, with layers of sweet vocal harmonies washing over depths of synthesisers and guitar, whilst drum machines battle with live drums.

Having already cut their teeth playing the likes of Latitude and Brownstock Festival this summer, the Suffolk outfit are beginning to take their live show across the country and with airplay already from the likes of Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1) and Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music), the band’s profile is sure to increase rapidly.

Amethyst’s ‘My Love’ was released on 28th July and is available to purchase on iTunes and Spotify. [via Super Cat PR]
