McAllen Texas band SICK/SEA is an indie/rock/jazz trio fronted by singer Audrey Scott with instrumentation by Johnny Garza and Cameron Scott. Its nice to stumble across a great band close to where a few grandparents were married and a few relatives lived and taught some time ages ago in the 20s-60s in Hidalgo Co. The five-track EP, Moral Compass is a solid effort and it was hard to pick just one song to introduce you to, but this one really stood out. Other favorites included the song Robot and the fifth track, Blinked.

The band is back in the studio apparently working on a new album. You can get the latest updates thorugh their FB page, which has all the links to their photo streams. The video for another track off the release, Robots, is posted further below, and a video for Blinked is floating around over on YouTube.
