Melbourne, Australia based Meeka Kates just released a new single. It’s a bouncy indie-electronic dance track about the downfall of civilization, inspired [he tells us] in equal parts by “Mecca”, the Jean-Michel Basquiat painting serving as its cover, and the poem “Howl” by Allen Ginsberg, part of which is recited by the man himself in the third verse of the song.
