“Delicate and hazy, the EP gently smolders like a cool blue flame. The shy flicker of the guitar is an invitation to step into the waterfall of sound on display. “For Kinder Than Wolves the process of writing and recording their first album was a collaborative effort. All three members are audio engineers by trade, but it was singer and guitarist Paige Coley who produced, engineered, and mixed the EP in their converted studio/home. Coley says, “The title ‘Mean Something’ was chosen partly as a reminder for our future selves to remember why we make music.” Coley, combines her aqueous vocals with Ryan Snow’s shimmering guitar and Grant Freeman’s rolling drums.
