The Story So Far: Scowl
From Walnut Creek, CA, the bay area band released their self-titled album via Pure Noise on May 18, 2015. Their excellent singles “Solo” and “Heavy Gloom” appear to be the first singles, but we gravitated to “Scowl“, a track with chugging guitars reminiscent of Kirsch-era Pinhead Gunpowder. The powerful vocals also effectuate the precision instrumentation, definitely a favorite off this very solid release.
You can purchase the 10 tracks via their Pure Noise page at Bandcamp below, and if you are in Brazil at the end of January ’16 you are in luck as they are playing there for several days (tourdates at their website)
