We/Or/Me: The Dusty Roads
Bahhaj Taherzadeh is the creative force behind the moniker We/Or/Me, pulling together beautiful dark passionate folk songs in his hometown in Chicago. Bajjah apparently often writes songs in his car on his lunch breaks at work, recording them at night while his daughters sleep. This routine has yielded a string of self-produced releases that have drawn admiration from the likes of NPR Music, Vashti Bunyan, Glen Hansard, and producers Brian Deck (Nathaniel Rateliff, Iron and Wine, Modest Mouse) and Adam Selzer.
The Adam Selzer (M. Ward, The Decemberists) produced album “Everything Behind Us is a Dream” which will be released on January 29, includes the excellent first single, “The Dusty Roads”, featured here on the daily feed.
