Team Callahan: Point Doom
Denver based husband/wife duo Team Callahan hail from St. Petersburg, Florida but made the jump to Colorado after finishing their first effort, Afterglow in late August. The superb full length album was a year in the making, with the team putting together their music in quick bursts between classes and work during their first year of marriage.
Lyrically the band states that Afterglow encapsulates their relationship, college, career pressure, generational failings, that dingy first apartment, grownup problems about money and trying to find the cheapest motor trade insurance, isolation, fear, and hope.
Point Doom is the striking first track from the thirteen track album, a perfect sun kissed theme for the overflow of continued Summer months here in LA.
