“Humeans are the two swedish DIY producers Mikael Laaksoharju and Thomas Isberg working in the box from their living rooms. Everything is recorded, mixed and mastered on laptops, mostly using headphones – a great example of the recording revolution taking place. Inspired by the 18th century philosopher David Hume, who said that human behaviour is controlled by desire rather than reason, Humeans aim to defeat loneliness with a powerful mixture of stomp, thin guitars and clever lyrics.” [bio]
