Formerly the voice of LA based indie-pop/Americana heroes, Last December—who rose to prominence in the late ’90s—Peter Argyropoulos collected numerous accolades for his songwriting and producing. Their music was (and still is) regularly featured on network TV shows and films. After teaming up with veteran producer-engineer Brian Malouf to co-produce Last December’s acclaimed 2007 full-length, “Hailstorm“, Argyropolous quietly began writing new songs for a solo project.

He eventually took on the stage name of Pete RG and honed his voice to a powerful deeper register, beginning the transition to becoming a more successful singer-songwriter. His excellent six-track “Lightning Strikes” EP was released earlier this year on February 9th, with an acoustic music video of today’s featured song embedded further below.
