Poppy Brothers just released their new album Dreams of the Newly Awake and today’s Dose Pillow Talk is from it.

“Poppy Brothers is an American electropop duo consisting of vocalist James Tillman and producer Matthew Taylor. In 2012 the real life brothers released three radically different songs online which ranged from smooth R&B to thick alternative rock. However, it was the slick electropop gem One that caught fire and propelled the brothers to record a full-length album: 2013’s Mark of the Beat. Shortly after the release, the pop duo returned with the even more ambitious collection End of the Rainbow before beginning work on their sophomore LP Sour Fruit, which saw the brothers sharpening their pop credentials on tracks like Dance Floor Forever and Perfect. Less than a year later, the brothers are back again with their fourth release in three years, 2015’s adventurous Dreams of the Newly Awake.” [bio]
